All-California Sacred Harp Convention

Bay Area Sacred Harp (BASH) invites you to join us in-person for the 33rd All-California Sacred Harp Singing Convention, the third Sunday in January and the Saturday before (January 14 and 15, 2023, MLK weekend), in Pacifica, California (just south of San Francisco). We will sing from 9:00 to 2:00 on Saturday and 10:00 to 3:00 on Sunday, with dinner on the grounds both days.

Location: Pedro Point Firehouse, 1227 Danmann Ave., Pacifica, CA 94044. This venue is wheelchair accessible. Limited street parking in the neighborhood, pay lot 0.6 miles away. Carpooling recommended!

COVID precautions: Full vaccination and rapid testing prior to each day of singing are required (we will have some extra tests available at the door, but please try to test yourself before coming!). Please do not come if you’re not feeling well. Singing is indoors, masks are optional. We plan to open windows and run air filters.

Socials: Weekend activities might include visits to nearby breweries, a fabulous beach (surfing may be involved), the world’s most beautiful Taco Bell, and a retired military battery (for outdoor singing).

Due to building capacity restrictions, please pre-register if you plan to attend. If you need housing for the weekend or have questions, please send me an email or call/text 404-202-0994.

If you are local, please bring a dish or two to share and if you are able to host traveling singers, please fill out the hosting form.

This singing rotates between San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego and Los Angeles.
